About the position
The NDI Maintenance Machinist is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various machinery and equipment within the facility. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to improve processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with various types of machinery and tools.
