Element has immediate openings for NDT Eddy Current technicians to support our fast-growing Aerospace Non-Destructive Testing business. Responsibilities
- Set up and standardize equipment for Eddy Current Testing.
- Process parts and interpret results for acceptance or rejection.
- Document results accurately and maintain related test equipment in good working condition.
- Familiarize with the scope and limitations of the Eddy Current technique/method.
- Follow company procedures for conducting tests and preparing test specimens.
- Work flexible hours and overtime when required.
- Complete data sheets and work orders using prescribed technology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical/mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency preferred.
- Meet the education and experience requirements of NAS-410 and provide documented evidence of qualification.
- Level 1 Eddy Current classroom training is required.
- Ability to prioritize critical work activities and use time effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous on-the-job training (OJT) in Eddy Current Testing is a plus.
