Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections on an as-needed basis.
• Read and comprehend drawings, designs, and specifications for parts to be inspected.
• Determine equipment required for inspections.
• Analyze and interpret indications of flaws, defects, and discontinuities.
• Record inspection results manually to be entered into a report.
• Accept or reject test objects based on a specific standard or specification.
• Create and sign off on reports based on inspection results.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid and up-to-date NDT certification is required.
• Verifiable experience in NDT is required, along with copies of certifications.
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle to travel to job sites.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, mainly Word and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Shearwave/Angle Beam experience is highly sought after.
• Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT), and Visual (VT) certifications are a bonus.
