About the position

We are seeking a skilled videographer for a dynamic 1 to 2-day shoot in Nashville, scheduled for July 25th and 26th, 2024. The project involves capturing a series of walkthroughs and sit-down interviews, both indoors and outdoors, with a total of approximately 3 to 6 interviews. The videographer will be responsible for providing thorough gimbal-operated coverage of the stage, audience, and overall ambiance of the event. This is a unique opportunity to work on a docu-style YouTube blog focused on exponential technologies, and it will also serve as a credit opportunity for a crew involved in a Netflix documentary project in 2023. The shooting style is fluid and documentary-like, requiring the videographer to adapt quickly to the environment while following a general timeline and formula to effectively cover the event within a short timeframe. The videographer will collaborate closely with an experienced producer, gaining exposure to the world of decentralization and web3 technologies. Candidates must have experience operating a gimbal, preferably with equipment such as the DJI Ronin RS, and should be familiar with shooting styles that include wide-angle, medium, and close-up shots. The ideal equipment setup includes a Sony A7S or A7R, Canon R6 or R5, and a selection of lenses including 24-105mm, 16-35mm, and 300mm. Compact light panels and lav mics are also essential for this shoot.
