About the position

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer role involves designing and implementing marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The position requires a strong technical background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and functionalities, as well as experience in creating complex email automations and data models. The developer will work closely with clients to deliver effective marketing strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement complex coding for dynamic email content and advanced automation journey logic based on project requirements.
• Create and improve Marketing Cloud data models and architecture.
• Build complex email automations and perform email sends using trigger and manual sends.
• Conduct A/B testing to evaluate email delivery success.
• Develop sophisticated email templates using HTML and CSS.
• Utilize AMPScript for email personalization and automation.
• Work with Mobile Studio for mobile marketing solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing needs and provide solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud features including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and more.
• Familiarity with multi-org connector and Marketing Cloud API.
• Mastery of SQL and understanding of Marketing Cloud's contact data model and ETL processes.
• Experience with building complex email automations and performing email sends.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and AMPScript for email template development.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Customer-facing experience is preferred.
