About the position

The Neighborhood Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and meeting quotas in a fast-paced environment. This role involves engaging with customers, managing prospect follow-ups, maintaining realtor relations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and acknowledge all visitors to the model with enthusiasm.
  • Ask open-ended questions to understand customer needs.
  • Perform model demonstrations highlighting home features.
  • Complete contract paperwork in an organized manner.
  • Maintain a system for organizing prospect registration cards.
  • Follow up with prospects through calls and written correspondence.
  • Maintain documentation of realtor traffic and perform required visits.
  • Plan realtor functions in the community each month.
  • Review and follow up on old prospect cards regularly.
  • Seek referral leads from current and past customers.
  • Ensure customer expectations are set properly during the sales process.
  • Assist customers in the option selection process and complete change orders.
  • Set appointments for new home orientations and walk-throughs.
  • Monitor loan approval and escrow processes as applicable.
  • Regularly visit construction sites to check progress.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers during construction.
  • Maintain awareness of competition and submit reports on findings.
  • Drive the community to check signage and overall appearance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the model/sales center.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Project professionalism and integrity in all dealings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in new home sales strongly preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, especially in Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Good organizational skills and follow-through capabilities.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and most holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service or sales management.
  • Knowledge of the local real estate market.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and terminology.
