About the position

The Neighborhood Sales Manager at New Home Co. is responsible for achieving sales and closing quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the home buying process. This role involves engaging with potential buyers, managing relationships with realtors, and overseeing the sales center's operations. The manager will also handle administrative tasks, maintain community appearance, and report on sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and establish rapport with visitors to the model homes.
  • Conduct model demonstrations to showcase home features.
  • Complete contract paperwork efficiently and accurately.
  • Organize prospect registration cards for timely follow-up.
  • Communicate with prospects through calls and written correspondence.
  • Maintain documentation of realtor traffic and conduct regular visits.
  • Plan and execute realtor functions in the community.
  • Review and follow up on old prospect cards and seek referrals.
  • Ensure customer expectations are set from contract signing to closing.
  • Assist customers in the option selection process and complete change orders.
  • Monitor loan approval and escrow processes, if applicable.
  • Regularly visit construction sites to check progress and ensure quality.
  • Maintain contact with customers during the construction process.
  • Conduct competitive shopping to understand market dynamics.
  • Maintain the sales center's appearance and cleanliness.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Valid Real Estate License is mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in new home sales.
  • Proficient in computer applications, especially Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to close sales and maintain organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service or real estate sales training.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
