About the position
The Workforce Development Manager for the Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC) Hub is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic workforce development and education plan across multiple states in the Northeast US. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including federal and state agencies, educational institutions, and industry leaders, to enhance workforce capabilities in the microelectronics sector. The position requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage complex partnerships and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with NEMC Hub members to assess workforce needs and develop a comprehensive workforce development plan.
- Oversee the implementation of the workforce development plan, including program development and evaluation.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the impact of workforce initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with federal and state agencies, industry leaders, and educational institutions.
- Champion the NEMC Hub's mission through outreach activities and represent the organization at events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Workforce Development, Business Administration, Education, Economics, or Industry-Related fields.
- 5+ years' experience in building and managing partnerships with federal and state agencies and educational institutions.
- 5+ years' experience with data analysis and program evaluation.
- Strong understanding of federal and state workforce development programs and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
