Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including buses, vans, and delivery vehicles.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers or deliveries at specified locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other team members regarding schedules and any changes.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist passengers as needed, including those with disabilities or special needs (for paratransit services).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is preferred.
• Experience in commercial driving, school bus driving, shuttle driving, paratransit services, or delivery driving is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
• Physical ability to assist passengers as needed and perform vehicle maintenance tasks.
