About the position

The Unit Support Tech at Saint Francis Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting the Women and Infants Division by ensuring cleanliness and order within the unit. This position involves collaboration with the Environmental Services team and encompasses various tasks including cleaning, stocking supplies, and performing secretarial duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the order and cleanliness of the Women and Infants Division (including Labor and Delivery, NICU, and Maternity)
• Stock supplies
• Clean medical equipment (i.e. isolettes, fetal heart rate monitors, etc.)
• Clean the Labor and Delivery operating room
• Transport specimens
• Transfer of patients and babies
• Perform secretarial duties

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
