About the position

The .Net Application Developer position is a long-term contract role focused on enhancing and modifying existing financial applications within the financial domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly with the .NET framework, and will be responsible for aligning financial systems with Workday's Foundation Data Model (FDM). This role requires strong technical skills, particularly in SQL Server and UI technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis, design, and development of changes to align financial systems with the Foundation Data Model (FDM).
  • Make changes to computer programs, databases, user interfaces, integrations, and reporting for FDM compliance.
  • Work with teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions aligned with business processes and system architecture.
  • Perform necessary data migration/conversion, update SSIS packages, and ensure smooth transitions to the FDM.
  • Engage in One Washington's end-to-end test cycle, bug fixes, and support for One Washington go-live/stabilization.

Requirements

  • Minimum six years of experience in software development using .NET framework, C#, SQL, WPF, and WCF.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including SSRS and SSIS for data reporting and integration processes.
  • Experience working with complex financial systems and knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Specific exposure to Workday's Foundation Data Model (FDM) or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, integrations, and exchanges between disparate systems using SSIS or equivalent tools.
  • Proficiency in UI technologies, specifically WPF.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working on Workday or similar ERP system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
