About the position

The .Net Architect with Angular 13 role involves leading and managing a team of overseas software engineers while providing technical direction and guidance for development projects. The position requires overseeing project plans and timelines, ensuring timely completion, and collaborating closely with onsite client stakeholders across various departments. The architect will also be responsible for developing proof of concepts, analyzing customer requirements, and implementing technical solutions that meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of overseas software engineers, providing technical direction and guidance for development projects.
  • Oversee technical project plans and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time.
  • Work closely with onsite client stakeholders from cross-functional departments.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance development capabilities.
  • Develop proof of concept and own development deliverables, requiring 50% efforts in active development.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures.
  • Design, develop, and implement financial products and custom web applications using .Net Core/ASP.Net Core/C#/EF Core/SQL Server technologies.
  • Design and implement technical specifications and business components using industry best practices and proven design patterns while utilizing OOAD and SOLID principles.
  • Design, develop, and implement top-notch user interfaces and custom software using Angular and related JavaScript frameworks.
  • Write efficient JavaScript/Typescript code while being proficient with HTML and CSS.
  • Perform analysis of user stories that may include complex functionalities.
  • Conduct high and low-level design, development, testing, coding, and issue/query resolutions.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing while participating in configuration management and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in UAT/production support activities.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and understand objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exposure to Azure development would be a plus.
  • Understanding of Regulatory reporting applications related to Client onboarding, legal entity onboarding, or Capital Market applications related to equity, underwriting business, etc.
  • Internal finance applications.
