About the position

The .Net Architect role at BC Forward involves leading the architecture design for various business lines and enterprise applications, focusing on custom web solutions and third-party vendor products. This hybrid position requires extensive experience in architecting and deploying web-based applications, ensuring high performance and scalability in a distributed, multi-tier environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design for various lines of business and enterprise applications.
• Design web application architecture and service architecture for high performance and scalability.
• Implement large-scale vendor systems and create benchmark tests.
• Architect and deploy web-based and web-enabled business applications.
• Ensure technical design aligns with business requirements and performance standards.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework development techniques.
• Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Experience with stateless distributed architectures and designing for scalability and performance.
• Proficiency in web-based technologies including HTTP, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with .NET Platform (4.8), .Net Core, ASP.NET MVC (4.0 / 5.0).
• Strong skills in React with Redux, JavaScript, Typescript, Node JS, and Socket IO.
• Familiarity with Agile development environments, especially SCRUM.
