About the position

The .Net Azure API Architect role is designed for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in solution architecture. The position focuses on developing secure and reliable solutions that align with client security and IT standards. The architect will be responsible for creating conceptual and logical designs, implementing best practices, and overseeing the integration of various technologies, particularly in the context of API management and enterprise integration.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of conceptual and logical solution designs to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
  • Consult on enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
  • Establish best practices, standards, guidelines, templates, and governance processes in a CoE setting.
  • Engage in software development using .Net and C# applications.
  • Build solutions and architectural frameworks for Enterprise Integration Middleware Solutions and API Management.
  • Define API and Integration Strategy for large customers, considering People, Process, and Technology dimensions.
  • Generate API Analytics, custom reports, and integrate with external tools like Splunk.
  • Utilize version control repositories like Azure DevOps for code review and management.
  • Run Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and work with ARM templates and Bicep.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in IT, including solution architecture.
  • 4+ years of experience in technology consulting and enterprise solutions architecture.
  • 4+ years of experience in CoE best practices and governance processes involving data and cloud integration.
  • 2+ years of experience in Enterprise Integration Middleware Solutions and API Management.
  • 2+ years of experience in API Development and defining integration strategies.
  • Knowledge of API best practices, integration design patterns, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with API Analytics and integration with tools like Splunk.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps Repos and CI/CD pipelines.
