About the position

The .NET Backend Developer position is focused on developing and maintaining backend systems using .NET technologies. The role requires strong expertise in C# and SQL, along with experience in enterprise content management software. The developer will work in an agile environment, collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while ensuring best practices in software development are followed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with agile/scrum teams to deliver software solutions.
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Integrate document storage systems with existing applications.
• Utilize ORM tools such as Entity Framework for database interactions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience using C#
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Familiar with Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience using JSON, Web API, and in-app hosting development
• Experience with RDBMS including SQL
• Experience using ORM tools such as Entity Framework
• Software engineering experience in object-oriented design
• Understanding of loosely coupled distributed design patterns
• Experience with unit testing in application development
• Experience in agile/scrum teams preferably using Azure DevOps
• Solid understanding of the software development process
• Experience with microservices
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with integrating document storage systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Web development, preferably Angular 2+
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or other related field
• Advanced degree is preferred.
