About the position

The .NET Core Developer role is focused on providing leadership and technical direction to a team responsible for delivering technology solutions. This position emphasizes developing solutions and processes that align with design and architectural patterns, as well as Agile and DevOps practices. The developer will ensure that system designs meet business outcomes and that coding and quality principles are adhered to, ultimately contributing to the success of software implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions and processes for delivering features based on design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices.
  • Ensure systems design and requirements align with desired business outcomes.
  • Maintain alignment of team practices and coding/quality principles with technology outcomes.
  • Design, develop, and be accountable for feature delivery.
  • Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.
  • Ensure solutions meet product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
  • Manage compliance and security items and provide audit support at the team level.
  • Act as a liaison for production activities and issues.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy product backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Guide the team on work breakdown and execution.
  • Mentor team members in skills and practices such as planning estimation and peer reviews.
  • Identify skill and role gaps and work with the Technology Manager to address them.
  • Assist in creating resource contingency plans with the Technology Manager.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a full stack .NET developer.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server and Microsoft Azure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cloud experience preferred.
