About the position

The .NET Developer for Azure Cloud Migration and Modernization will be a key member of the Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) project team, responsible for developing custom software applications and databases. This role involves full lifecycle application development, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet project requirements. The developer will leverage extensive experience with Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions to implement and support project activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom software applications and databases for the MAC Cloud Migration and Modernization Project.
• Implement enhancements to existing systems and troubleshoot application issues.
• Integrate applications and support project team activities.
• Make high-level design choices and implement solutions following technical standards.
• Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet defined requirements.
• Analyze, design, implement, and test solutions as part of a full lifecycle project development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5)+ years as a lead developer with experience in the full software development lifecycle.
• Eight (8)+ years of experience with Microsoft development technologies including .NET (C#), ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with Azure Functions, ORMs like Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in web development technologies including WCF/WebAPI, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React), HTML5, SASS, and CSS frameworks.
• Experience with additional technologies such as NodeJS, Oracle, MongoDB, Python, and GIS frameworks is highly desired.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, or DAD is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PowerBI or other reporting platforms.
• Extensive data migration/replication experience leveraging ETL solutions.
• Deep understanding of Azure services and experience in implementing cloud solutions.
