About the position
The .NET Developer position is a hybrid role based in Westchester, IL, requiring 5 to 7 years of IT experience. The role involves developing and maintaining applications using various technologies, with a focus on ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server. The candidate will work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment, utilizing their technical and analytical skills to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET and MVC.
- Utilize C# for backend development.
- Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework for database management.
- Implement Web Services and Web API for application integration.
- Use JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON for front-end development.
- Incorporate TypeScript into projects as needed.
- Optionally work with Knockout and Kendo for enhanced UI functionality.
- Manage source code using GIT.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile methodology.
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of IT experience.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET and MVC.
- Proficiency in C# programming.
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Knowledge of Web Services and Web API.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
