About The Position

The .NET Developer position focuses on designing and developing AI-driven solutions to enhance tax-related processes for a Texas-based Tax Service. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify challenges and implement innovative AI applications that improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in tax operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET, C#, Python, Microsoft relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), API development, testing, and Microsoft Azure.
• 1-3 years of experience in designing, deploying, and implementing AI solutions.
• Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics.
• Strong communication and business writing skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to analyze business challenges and requirements, designing scalable AI solutions using machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data analytics.
• Implement AI models and algorithms, focusing on efficient, explainable, and high-quality code using .NET, React, Microsoft Azure, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure AI solutions meet performance and quality standards.
• Perform code reviews and approve pull requests to maintain high code quality standards.
• Collaborate with tax professionals, IT teams, and business stakeholders to integrate and deploy AI solutions into the tax practice.
• Contribute across all stages of the project lifecycle, including requirements documentation, development, configuration, testing, debugging, and ongoing system support.
