About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Programmer for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role involves developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining software applications for a digital client-facing platform, while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation and support of the applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications for the Digital client facing platform.
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications using new technologies.
• Collaborate with other programmers and Engineering partners for successful delivery of software applications.
• Provide technical support in collaboration with administrators.
• Develop, test, improve and maintain new and existing data processes for effective information retrieval.

Requirements

• 5+ years development experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework/ASP.NET 4.0/.NET MVC, including web forms, web controls, user controls, master pages, and script manager.
• Experience with Single Page Application/JS Templating/Client side MVC.
• Ability to consume ASP.NET web services and script services (asmx, wcf).
• Knowledge of ASP.NET web services architecture and Web GUI development.
• Strong client-side development skills.
• Experience in profiling applications on both server-side and client-side.
• Strong skills in performance application tuning.
• Experience in designing complex SQL queries and translating data into information.
