About the position

The .NET Developer position at Kaiser Permanente involves designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications. The developer will also manage complex projects, support vendor management, and contribute to business strategy and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver software solutions.
  • Serve as a consultant to align diverse stakeholders and drive successful business initiatives.
  • Promote learning and provide resources and expertise to coworkers and members.
  • Facilitate team collaboration to support business outcomes.
  • Manage complex projects and participate in change management activities.
  • Perform data analyses to support business initiatives and monitor compliance with policies.
  • Support vendor management and ensure service level agreements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five years of experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, operations, or a directly related field, OR a Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of experience, OR a minimum of eight years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of business acumen, change management, negotiation, and applied data analysis.
  • Experience in project management, risk assessment, and service focus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework and SQL Server.
  • 3 years of development experience using C# .NET.
  • Knowledge of at least one .NET language (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and proficiency in C#.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of REST or other APIs.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
