About the position

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled .Net Developer to join a client in the Chicagoland area. The role involves contributing to software development projects using .Net technologies, with a focus on creating and maintaining applications in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .Net development and a strong understanding of various programming languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .Net technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Implement API development and integration.
• Refactor code and apply design patterns as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to technical best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of development experience in .Net/C#/VB.net using Visual Studio IDE.
• Strong understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, and JSON.
• Expert level knowledge in SQL and experience in API development.
• Familiarity with Angular and ReactJS frameworks.
• Experience with code refactoring and design patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with ADO and JIRA.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of TFS and GIT.
• Familiarity with Telerik is a plus.
