About the position

SimVentions is seeking a mid to senior level .Net Developer to integrate Battle Management System weapon control software and other technologies, including AI/ML algorithms, onto various platforms. This role is crucial for supporting weapon integration and requires a strong background in software development, particularly in .NET and C#. The position is 100% on-site in Dahlgren, Virginia, and involves some travel for testing and integration events.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Battle Management System weapon control software and ground control software.
• Support the integration of AI/ML algorithms into existing systems.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Debug and optimize software performance across multiple projects.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for project management.

Requirements

• United States Citizenship is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a mid to senior developer.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Debugging and performance optimization skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of military standards and specifications.
• Familiarity with Weapon Systems and Command & Control systems.
