About the position

The .Net Full Stack Developer position is a hybrid role based in Chelsea, MA, requiring a skilled individual to design, develop, and support existing applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ASP.NET, C#, XML, Oracle, and SQL Server, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining applications that meet business needs. This role involves working closely with a technical team to ensure that applications are built to specification and function correctly. In this position, the developer will engage in the entire application lifecycle, including design, development, build, unit testing, and deployment. The candidate will analyze requirements and data to provide appropriate recommendations and will be expected to thoroughly test all code to ensure functionality. Additionally, the developer will be tasked with developing and testing stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, and other database objects that support business logic. The role also includes leveraging the Microsoft 365 Power Platform to create interactive dashboards and automate workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The developer will assist power users in building and maintaining their own Power Platform solutions and will be responsible for creating IT documentation, user guides, and other communications. Adherence to established business, technical, and project policies is essential, including best practices in project management, risk tracking, and resource management. The developer will also collect data and report on technical metrics to assess success factors during development and support.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a technical team involved in application design, development, build, unit testing, and deployment using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, XML, Oracle, SQL Server, jQuery, and web services.
  • Analyze requirements and data to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Thoroughly test all code to ensure that programs are functioning correctly.
  • Develop and test stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, and other objects that assist in the implementation of business rules/logic.
  • Write ad-hoc queries.
  • Develop solutions in Microsoft Power Platform using Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Assist power users in building and maintaining their own Power Platform solutions.
  • Create IT documents for knowledge base, user guides, and other communications systems.
  • Follow established business, technical, and project policies and guidelines aligned with A&F and EOTSS principles and standards.
  • Collect data and report on technical metrics to determine success factors using established project tools and processes during development and support.

Requirements

  • Experience with ASP.NET, C#, XML, Web API, MVC, and Oracle.
  • Expert-level JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience in database design using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in Web Services (SOAP or REST) and WSDL.
  • Experience configuring and implementing Power Apps.
  • Experience with integration, deployments, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with advanced query design, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines and tasks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and business resources at many levels.
  • Ability to understand, appreciate, and adapt to new business cultures and ways of working.
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Microsoft 365 Power Platform.
  • Ability to leverage Power Apps to create interactive dashboards and canvases to automate workflows.
