About the position

Responsible for assisting reimbursement team in internal and external reporting for assigned entities. Coordination of net revenue functions related to the strategic financial planning process. Responsible for the integrity of net revenue.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing and assisting with schedules required to support the submission of Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare cost reports, complying with regulations.
• Gains understanding of the third-party cost report changes from prior years, helping to investigate differences.
• Assists with preparing monthly reserve model and providing thorough analysis of net revenue variances for assigned entities.
• Prepares and timely submits mid-month projections of net revenue for assigned entities.
• Contributes to helping senior analysts and manager develop adequate reserve position by completing monthly reserve analysis.
• Learns to identify and report any increase or decrease from previously stated reserve position.
• Provides support to senior analysts and manager around complex projections and analytical support during the fiscal year budgeted net revenue preparation.
• Completes continued training and continued learning to keep abreast of third-party regulations and changes.
• Provides analytical support through financial impact summarization.
• Estimates the financial impact any changes in payment assumptions and/or budget assumptions may have on the subsidiary and communicates as directed.
• Assists with coordinating the collection of data and/or preparation of schedules for third party financial audits, settlements, and cash reconciliations.
• Responsible for reconciliation of all balance sheet allowance and settlement accounts on a monthly basis as assigned.
• Prepares quarterly reporting of balance sheet changes and settlement changes to correctly reflect the quarter ending balance sheet position.
• Provides reimbursement analysis support for new product line development or for existing product line analysis as requested or scheduled.
• Assists in the maintenance of the net revenue model software timely, updating weights, rates, and other information needed as to properly reflect net revenue.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
• Experience - No previous experience required.
