About the position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a .NET Software Developer in Miami, FL. The client is looking for a Software Developer to assist in supporting enterprise permitting applications that facilitate the client's core business functions. The Developer will participate in application design and will be expected to provide time estimates. This role requires the ability to work in a team environment, where software enhancements and fixes are rolled out in two-week sprints using the SCRUM methodology. Additionally, the Developer should be capable of working independently to meet management deadlines. Effective communication with colleagues and end users is essential, and the Developer should interact courteously and respectfully with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supporting enterprise permitting applications that facilitate the client's core business functions.
  • Participate in application design and provide time estimates for development tasks.
  • Work in a team environment using SCRUM methodology for software enhancements and fixes.
  • Independently meet management deadlines for project deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and end users.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in MVC, C# .NET, LINQ, jQuery, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
  • Three years of experience with SQL Server.
  • Three years of experience writing RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Telerik/Kendo UI.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and version control, including branching strategies.
