About the position

Akkodis is seeking a .Net Solution Architect for a contract position in Hermitage, TN. The role involves designing and planning new hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements, with a focus on cloud architecture and software delivery using .NET technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan new hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements.
• Architect and deliver software products and solutions using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement off-prem public cloud (AWS) environment architectures and operational models.
• Develop cloud-ready solutions with active-active and geo/regional resiliency.
• Manage public cloud migrations and implement IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Lead architecture activities including designing, roadmap, and proof-of-concepts.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including Aurora, DynamoDB, and SQL Server.
• Develop applications using Angular, React, and Node.js.
• Utilize container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Architect large microservices-based solutions and build data marts and warehouses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience in software architecture and delivery.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud architecture and operational models.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Strong experience in .NET framework and related technologies.
• Experience with data modeling, visualization tools, and query languages.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and complex projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture with .NET technologies.
• Proven expertise in designing scalable and secure enterprise solutions.
