About the position
The .NET Web Developer position is focused on end-to-end application development, requiring a skilled professional with extensive experience in .NET technologies. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and supporting applications, with a specific emphasis on converting Java code to C#. The developer will work on-site in Columbus, OH, for a duration of 7 months.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop web applications using .NET technologies.
- Convert Java code to C# as required.
- Perform coding, testing, and support for applications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
- Mentor junior technical staff and provide leadership in development practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with .NET, ASP.NET Core MVC, and C#.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- 5+ years of front-end coding and UI design mock-ups.
- 10+ years in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and WCF.
- 5+ years using TFS/Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledgeable in secure coding practices, AJAX, SSRS, and RESTful APIs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SSIS, Azure/AWS, ETL, Power BI, JavaScript.
