About the position

M.C. Dean is seeking a highly competent Network Administrator 3 to assist in the design and maintenance of its network of specialized hardware. The selected candidate will be expected to provide a high level of service to a demanding workforce with specialized hardware and software needs, ensuring the effective operation of network technologies and end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Implement various network technologies and provide end-user support.
• Manage systems requirements, project management, and strategic planning.
• Oversee operational requirements and enterprise strategic planning and operations.
• Work with Unix/Linux system software, test & evaluation, and training.
• Demonstrate experience in advanced system architecture and information assurance.
• Utilize hardware technologies and digital/analog communications technologies.
• Maintain knowledge of UNIX/LINUX, CISCO IOS, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL.
• Use routing protocols and switching technologies, LAN/WAN media, and protocols.
• Plan and organize work while interacting with technical and non-technical personnel to translate user requirements into applications.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of information assurance concepts and requirements.
• Work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Exhibit strong communication, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience
• Associate's Degree with 8+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience
• Desired Certifications: CCNA, CCNP or Network+, Security + or similar meeting DOD 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II.
