About the position

The Network Analyst position at Chenega Corporation involves providing technical support and administrative services for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to the Department of Navy's Commander, Operational Test and Evaluation Force (COMOPTEVFOR). The role focuses on configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of SCCM and related systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administration for Microsoft Endpoint Manager/SCCM and Windows Software Update Server (WSUS) products.
  • Analyze SCCM deployment failures and take corrective actions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems health and availability; recover data in the event of hardware or software failure.
  • Update Microsoft Endpoint Manager/SCCM servers with the latest software patches and fixes.
  • Build and deploy SCCM installation packages for application updates and patches as well as operating system updates.
  • Validate successful deployment of software update packages through reporting tools.
  • Manage software distribution and hardware/software inventories using Endpoint Manager/SCCM.
  • Provide computer operations and customer support services for the Endpoint Manager/SCCM infrastructure.
  • Assist with modifying and creating software application packages and scripts.
  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software to resolve issues for staff.
  • Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates as needed.
  • Provide a monthly status report on assigned tasks and future work plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows 10 or higher.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager/SCCM.
  • Must have the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification OR Endpoint Administrator Associate certification.
  • Must have the proper and current cyber security qualifications to perform IT privileged administrative functions in accordance with the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF).
  • Must meet the applicable DCWF Work Role [441] Foundation Qualifications, Intermediate which include an Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

  • CompTIA Cloud+ certification.
  • GIAC GLOBAL INDUSTRY CYBER SECURITY PROFESSIONAL (GICSP) certification.
