About the position

As a Network and UNIX Cybersecurity Assessor at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating cyber risks for government agencies and military organizations. Your expertise will help translate complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable plans, ensuring the security of mission-critical infrastructure. You will collaborate with various IT professionals to assess the threat landscape and guide clients through the development of effective cybersecurity strategies.

Responsibilities

• Work with governmental leaders to discover cyber risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Assess the entire threat landscape by gathering technical, environmental, and personnel details from IT Security Professionals and Administrators.
• Guide clients through a plan of action with presentations, whitepapers, and milestones.
• Translate security concepts for clients to help them make informed decisions regarding their information systems.
• Conduct reviews of enterprises, networks, systems, and applications to ensure compliance with national and DoD-level Cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with network devices, appliances, firewalls, routers, and various versions of UNIX operating systems.
• Knowledge of DoD STIGs and RMF assessment tools.
• Ability to consolidate, create, and brief findings based on analysis.
• Top Secret clearance required.
• 8570 IAT II Certification.
• High School diploma or GED.
