About the position

The Network Architect and Network Lead position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves leading network projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical guidance to ensure the network meets the organization's needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architecture solutions that meet business requirements.
• Lead network projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal operation.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience with network security practices and tools.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud networking solutions.
• Familiarity with automation tools for network management.
