About the position

The Network Architect for HPC and AI at Hewlett Packard Enterprise is responsible for designing, assessing, and developing electrical and electronic components for high-performance computing and artificial intelligence systems. This role involves conducting feasibility studies, evaluating designs, and providing technical leadership for significant projects. The architect will also mentor less-experienced staff and contribute to the development of organization-wide architectures and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, assesses, develops, modifies, and evaluates electrical/electronic parts and components for hardware systems.
  • Conducts feasibility studies and empirical testing on new and modified designs.
  • Assists in architecture development and assessment.
  • Evaluates reliability of materials and techniques used in production.
  • Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work.
  • Oversees cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing.
  • Identifies and evaluates new technologies and innovations for alignment with technology roadmap.
  • Reviews and evaluates designs for compliance with technology and development guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware design and development.
  • Experience using electrical design tools and software packages.
  • Excellent assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in overall architecture of electronic hardware for products and solutions.
  • History of innovation with multiple patents in the field of electronics packaging.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
