About the position

The Network Architect IV at Chickasaw Nation Industries is a critical role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex computer networks to meet the organization's current and future needs. This position focuses on ensuring network infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable, particularly in support of Azure cloud projects and Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to develop network solutions and troubleshoot issues, while also maintaining compliance with cybersecurity regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, maintains, and administers computer networks and related computing environments for Azure cloud projects and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Supports the configuration and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 in support of production optimization and shop floor management.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to identify network needs and develop network solutions.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves network problems and issues.
  • Designs network perimeter and associated firewall services for protecting application services.
  • Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
  • Performs routine maintenance, such as applying software updates and patches.
  • Optimizes configurations to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Develops and maintains system design, implementation, and security documentation required for ATO activities.
  • Develops processes and procedures for a periodic review of user accounts and associated permissions to meet system and data security requirements.
  • Designs and implements event logging, storage, and review processes and integrates into the enterprise event management system.
  • Works with software development teams to understand application and data access requirements and implement network configuration solutions.
  • Protects data, software, and hardware by planning and implementing network security measures in compliance with all cybersecurity regulations.
  • Conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Assesses needs, designs, implements, and provides network administration and maintenance of designated physical and virtual company networks required to meet requirements.
  • Creates and maintains documentation related to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
  • Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
  • Proficiency in network hardware and software configuration.
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) I level preferred (e.g., A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP).
  • Preference given to DoD or Federal Government industry experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with large scale manufacturing, production, and/or logistics activities as they relate to supporting IT systems and tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
