About the position

The Network Architect at SONIFI Solutions, Inc. plays a crucial role in leading network architecture initiatives, providing technical expertise, and supporting various teams to deliver Internet Services solutions. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop architectural strategies, validating complex IP system designs, and ensuring effective communication during product testing and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross-functional leadership to advance Internet Services architectural strategy.
• Provides direction and technical expertise to support Internet Service stakeholder teams.
• Performs design, development, documentation, analysis, and validation for complex projects.
• Contributes to knowledge transfer by creating documents and training materials for new products.
• Communicates with Installations, Field Service, and TAC during new product testing phases.
• Leads initial site configuration and validation procedures for new products.
• Engages with technology vendors for product evaluations and technical issues.
• Assesses effectiveness of existing systems and contributes to improvement strategies.
• Tests and validates new hardware for deployment applications.
• Maintains understanding of network equipment and software integration efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture or related field.
• Cisco CCNA or CCDA certification desired; CCNP or CCDP preferred.
• Experience with HPE-Aruba or Ruckus platforms is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in software integration with network equipment vendors.
• Demonstrated mastery of network equipment through manufacturers test results.
