About the position

The Network Architect role involves designing and architecting network infrastructure, particularly focusing on Azure Cloud and Data Centre solutions with a Cisco-centric approach. The position requires extensive experience in solution design, consultancy, and project management, with a strong emphasis on creating robust technical architectures that meet business needs and scalability requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the On-premises Infrastructure & Azure Cloud Solution proposal and support business development.
  • Provide holistic cloud solutions addressing scalability, availability, service continuity, performance, and security requirements.
  • Understand client environments and business needs to provide relevant solutions and consulting.
  • Work closely with vendors to understand their strategies and articulate roadmaps for clients.
  • Participate in the creation and delivery of technical solutions during planning and solution definition phases.
  • Develop and design data center network architectures using Cisco technologies.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate Cisco products and solutions for data center networking.
  • Architect and design Azure-based cloud networking solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Implement Azure network components, including Virtual Network, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Load balancers, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
  • Communicate with client stakeholders on key decisions and project updates.
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the overall cloud migration project for the client and offshore team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 14 years of experience in Solution Design, Consultancy, and Project Management.
  • Expert level knowledge in Routing & Switching, especially around Cisco Nexus and Cisco UCS.
  • Strong knowledge of network security concepts and technologies.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred certifications in CCIE or equivalent.
