About the position

The Network Architect at WarCollar Industries is responsible for providing comprehensive data networking solutions and oversight for legacy telecommunications services, including broadband internet circuits, cloud networking, and wireless mobile services. This role requires extensive experience in network monitoring technologies and lifecycle management of broadband circuits, along with the ability to manage both technical and operational aspects of legacy networking services while developing strategic roadmaps for future technological advancements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and data networking solutions for legacy telecommunications services, including broadband internet circuits, wireless mobile services, and cloud networking.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of data and network monitoring technologies, standards, and practices to effectively manage and optimize the broadband circuit portfolio.
• Assist with the full lifecycle of data networking services, from strategic planning and operations to financial management, with a focus on broadband circuit performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for current and future wireless mobile and data networking services.
• Conduct assessments of voice and data networking technologies and operations to manage legacy tech debt and create future-focused network roadmaps.
• Utilize wireless Intune MDM for configuring wireless settings and ensuring mobile device compatibility.
• Manage and resolve general technology incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to service.
• Ensure best practices in service management, including vendor and contract management in an outsourcing or shared service environment.
• Respond to and resolve escalations from customers or agencies, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in broadband circuit management, wireless mobile phone solutions, and data networking.
• Extensive experience with data network monitoring technologies and best practices.
• Strong understanding of service management frameworks, including contract and vendor management.
• Solid background in managing technology incidents and driving them to resolution.
• Proficiency with wireless Intune MDM for configuring wireless device settings.
• Experience managing legacy technologies and developing future network roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to address business requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with State or Government agencies.
• ITIL Foundation certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud networking technologies.
• Familiarity with Thousand Eyes network monitoring tools.
