About the position

The Network Architect will function in a lead role, contributing technical expertise and tactical leadership in the design and validation of complex IP system designs. This position supports various teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver Internet Services solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance architectural strategies, performing design and development tasks, and leading efforts in product testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to formulate Internet Services architectural strategy.
• Provide direction and technical expertise to support Internet Service stakeholder teams.
• Perform design, development, documentation, analysis, and validation for complex projects.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer by creating documents and training materials.
• Communicate with Installations, Field Service, and TAC during new product testing phases.
• Lead initial site configuration and validation procedures.
• Engage with technology vendors on product evaluations and technical issues.
• Assess effectiveness of existing systems and contribute to improvement strategies.
• Test and validate new hardware for deployment applications.
• Maintain understanding of network equipment and software integration efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network architecture or related field.
• Cisco CCNA or CCDA desired; CCNP or CCDP certification preferred.
• Demonstrated mastery on primary platforms SONIFI deploys (HPE-Aruba, Ruckus) preferred.

Nice-to-haves
