About the position

The Network Automation Technician (PM Shift) will be an integral part of the manufacturing team within the Pharma Industry. This role involves modifying and installing electrical and control systems to enhance performance and resolve issues. The technician will utilize various electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot problems and ensure the safe operation of systems, while adhering to schematics and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time on agreed targets.
• Develop plans for own projects and lead small project teams.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Generate and develop standard operating procedures and job aids to support systems and equipment.
• Analyze operational process problems and recommend corrective and preventative actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Working knowledge of computer networking.
• Experience with SQL, Java, C++, and Microsoft Active Directory is a bonus.
• CompTIA, Cisco, and Palo Alto certifications are a big plus.
• Familiarity with remote desktop/VNC, ticketing, and help desk systems.
• Experience with industrial control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADAs, computerized systems, Historians, and/or SQL Server.
• Experience in troubleshooting issues to root cause and recommending effective corrective actions.
• Strong teamwork spirit, good communication skills, and training abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral).

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment including multi-meters, clamp-on current meters, and meggers.
