About the position

The Network Cloud Engineer / Administrator will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a multi-cloud network that interconnects various services and systems across AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud environments. This role requires expertise in network operations and the ability to deliver optimized network infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance. The position is remote and involves collaboration in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure basic network components such as security groups and VPCs according to templates or documented standards.
• Support connectivity issues and collaborate with the team on troubleshooting.
• Set up and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards, escalating complex issues to senior team members.
• Respond to alerts and troubleshoot routine issues, with guidance for more complex incidents.
• Follow cloud security practices, focusing on operational tasks like managing access controls.
• Update documentation related to cloud infrastructure, monitoring setups, and security configurations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree.
• 4+ years of experience in technology-related roles or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate).
• General understanding of networking concepts and practices.
• Experience managing hybrid/multi-cloud networking solutions, specifically AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.
• Exposure to implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and/or code deployment via GitHub actions.
