About the position

The Network Communication & Security Operations Trainee position is a seasonal role designed for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in IT support, specifically focusing on mobile technology. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Mobile Technology team, providing second-level technical support for mobile clients and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role includes engaging in real-world projects, enhancing technical skills, and participating in educational networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level technical support for mobile hardware and software requests.
• Ensure effective use of IT processes and systems to deliver high-quality service to customers.
• Resolve issues and requests to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Analyze and resolve hardware/software problems using knowledge of mobile operating systems.
• Assist with adding or removing mobile devices and software functionality.
• Document and track resolution information in the call management system.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of issues.
• Monitor progress on open tickets and escalate unresolved issues as necessary.
• Assist with special projects, including documentation and testing of mobile systems.
• Provide training to customers on hardware/software functionality.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of work experience preferred, including internships.
• Working knowledge of various technical platforms.
• Strong service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of continuous process improvement methodologies.
• Good to above-average problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Mobile Device Management systems and functionality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
