About the position
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a secret cleared Network Controller to join a premier federal agency based out of Hill or Scott Air Force Base. The secret cleared Network Controller is responsible for supporting a 24/7 Network Operations Center, to maintain DOD and Military LAN/WAN operations. We are seeking several different types of Network Controllers that have strong experience in SATCOM, Transport/IP, or VOIP.
Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN routers and switches
- Monitor, track, and resolve networks issues
- Assess network incidents and deficiencies in one or more of the following areas; routers, switches, crypto devices, CISCO, Juniper, SATCOM, IP/TCP, and VOIP
- Conduct network and telecommunications incident investigation and repairs
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 2-5 years of experience in Networking
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- CompTIA Sec+ or equivalent certification
- Able to work in a shift work environment as they are a 24/7 operation center
