About the position
The Network Data Analytics Senior Analyst at The Cigna Group is responsible for maintaining and analyzing provider and network data, as well as developing automation processes and tools for the Retail Compliance team within the Supply Chain Department. This role involves extensive data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, R, and Python, and requires collaboration with cross-functional business partners to enhance workflows and solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze complex provider information and synchronize data across claims and provider databases.
- Participate in system testing and analysis for new functionalities and business rule changes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement using analytical skills.
- Develop automation tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Design and implement algorithms and processes to support data analysis initiatives.
- Manage and maintain provider and network information, ensuring data integrity and interoperability.
- Perform data analysis to provide insights about providers and networks using analytical tools.
- Oversee projects from concept through implementation and maintenance.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members in Provider Validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analysis or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in data analysis or programming with MS Office applications, SQL, R, or Python.
- Excellent quantitative skills for complex data analysis and problem solving.
- Experience in addressing challenging problems and achieving results.
- Knowledge of the PBM business model.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to lead projects with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with various partners.
- Ability to prepare and present concepts and proposals to management.
