The Network Data and Security Architect position is a critical role focused on ensuring the security and efficiency of network infrastructure within the organization. This position requires extensive experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, where the candidate will be responsible for designing and managing security policies tailored for enterprise-level environments. The role demands hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching, particularly with Cisco products, and actual physical experience in large data centers is preferred. The architect will also need to be an expert in NetScaler Load Balancers, capable of handling escalated tickets at the L3 level and recommending best practices for network management. In addition to resolving technical issues, the Network Data and Security Architect will participate in requirement gathering sessions to provide solutions that align with industry standards and best practices. The role involves working on various network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, transitions, and replacements, while also recommending optimal network security policies. Collaboration with different OEM vendors to identify the best products and solutions is essential, as is conducting vulnerability assessments and remediating any identified issues within the network security infrastructure. The architect will analyze network performance metrics such as availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency, and will be responsible for documenting and implementing network policies and procedures. Strong communication skills are necessary, as the architect will need to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively to various stakeholders. The position requires an engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field, ensuring that the candidate possesses the foundational knowledge necessary for this complex role.
