About the position

The Network/Database Administrator is responsible for managing the information technology systems of the Training and Upgrading Fund and Child Care Fund. This role focuses on maintaining network functionality and security, monitoring system performance, and providing training on technology to staff members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee network functionality and security for the Funds
• Configure and monitor servers, routers, staff and classroom computers, network security, and firewall
• Schedule and perform regular server maintenance and design backup processes
• Create network and email user accounts for all staff members and provide technical support
• Monitor and troubleshoot telephone system and audio/visual equipment
• Perform maintenance of security camera and door access systems
• Develop, update, and maintain back-end functionality of database and configure user rights access
• Administer content and design for websites for Funds
• Train and assist staff on programs, software, systems, and technology used by Funds
• Provide Fund Directors with network, database, and website performance reports and attain approval for critical updates and technology purchases
• Assist staff members of the Funds on other necessary or time-sensitive duties

Requirements

• College degree and five years of related work experience
• Advanced technical expertise of network configuration, data analysis, and database software
• Advanced knowledge of reporting systems and experience using statistical software
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience with member database system
• Experience with web design and graphic design software
• Strong communication skills and positive customer service attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of member information
