Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Design Engineer to join an opportunity supporting a long-term government program that is fully funded through 2028. This position is on-site in Quantico, Virginia. The Network Design Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the Marine Corps' existing network architecture and will assist with future planning for network optimization and modernization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of network engineering activities, including router and switch configurations, conducting network architecture reviews, and troubleshooting network hardware issues. Additionally, the engineer will be tasked with configuring Cisco firewalls and monitoring the network using SolarWinds to ensure optimal performance and security.
