About the position

The Chief Network Design Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in network design, integration, testing, security, and implementation of Network Services for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) DoDNet. This role requires extensive experience in network engineering and operations, particularly in large-scale enterprise network solution implementation and transition to Network Operations. The engineer will be responsible for providing expert knowledge on secure wide area connectivity, which includes underlay, overlay, and COI transport design that meets performance, quality of service, security, and mission requirements. In this position, the Chief Network Design Engineer will propose innovative solutions to Network Domain Architects aimed at defining and continuously improving network services.
