The AWS Global Connectivity and Network Availability (GCNA) Organization is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join our EDGE team. This role is pivotal in partnering with our broader Infrastructure organization to establish configuration standards and tools, while collaborating with Systems and Software Engineers to ensure the rapid and smooth rollout of new designs and products. The Network Development Engineer will also be responsible for deploying and sustaining networking software tools, which are essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our network operations. AWS GCNA serves as the backbone of the global AWS network, focusing on managing internet traffic to ensure users can access their information and applications from anywhere in the world. The organization is tasked with building and designing a complex backbone network that facilitates efficient internet traffic flow between data centers and customers. As a Network Development Engineer, you will perform high-quality network and systems operations, including deployments, scaling, technology refreshes, and sustaining engineering.
