As a Network Development Engineer within the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Network Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and sustainability of next-generation IP networks that support the U.S. Intelligence Community. Your work will involve collaborating with top-tier Network Engineers to deliver efficient, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes while addressing complex technical issues. You will leverage your expertise in network and Unix systems engineering to take ownership of networking projects, focusing on deployment, implementation, scaling, and optimization. In this role, you will partner with the broader Infrastructure organization to establish configuration standards and tools, and work closely with Systems and Software Engineers to facilitate the rapid and smooth rollout of new designs and products. Additionally, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining networking software tools. The position requires a commitment to work-life balance, as the team supports 24/7 systems in a classified environment, which includes periodic on-call duties and the ability to respond to critical events as needed.
