About the position

The Network Engineer position at the University of California, Berkeley, is a critical role within the Network Services and Operations Team, part of Berkeley IT's Campus IT Infrastructure Department. This team is dedicated to empowering students, faculty, and staff by providing essential access to tools, resources, and information necessary for their success. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, specification, and installation of distribution and access electronics, such as switches, and will play a key role in evaluating, testing, and deploying new or enhanced electronics and services.
